Position Purpose

The Manger of Quality Assurance is responsible for leading, designing, and facilitating initiatives across Renown Health. This position utilizes data analysis to drive process improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based practice. The incumbent will drive planning and implementation of process change to promote best practice.

 

 

 

Nature and Scope

This position requires excellent communication skills, data analytics skills, facilitation skills, emotional intelligence, and problem solving to design and implement large scale evidence-based quality improvement initiatives across multiple disciplines and divisions.

 

Skills required:

• Ability to clearly articulate concepts

• Able to manage the step-by-step details while keeping the big picture in mind

• Proven experience with performance improvement methodologies, tools, and systems

• Advanced analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

• Proven experience in data analysis

• Advanced experience in facilitating performance improvement teams

• Healthcare expertise that provides necessary knowledge and skill to develop clinically focused quality initiatives

• Experience in designing and developing performance measures

Minimum Qualifications

Description

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of three to five years of hospital-based quality/performance improvement experience.

License(s):

None

Certification(s):

Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

Computer / Typing:

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word and have the ability to use the computer for online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
