Take time to build resiliency by engaging in the following:
-

Relax. Spend time with loved ones, listen to your favorite music or read a good book.
Recharge. Exercise, get plenty of rest, or volunteer. Giving back to the community you live in is a great way to generate new energy and motivation to better the world around you.
Restore. Your physical, mental and social well-being can be easily restored by maintaining routines, eating a healthy diet and getting as much sleep as possible.
-
Manage your stressIf you recognize you’re experiencing one or more signs of stress, pause and take a moment to assess your overall well-being. Stress experienced by healthcare workers may arise from witnessing human suffering, risk of personal harm, intense workloads, life-and-death decisions, and separation from family. Stress prevention and management is critical for healthcare workers to continue to offer their skills during a time of need, like the COVID19 pandemic.
