Position Purpose
This position participates in the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of new and existing application systems used within Renown Health entities. This position partners with the user community to resolve technical problems, application performance issues as well as participate in optimization and enhancement efforts. This position implements design, configuration, testing and supporting of files and system changes within assigned products and scope, including system administration functions. The incumbent in this position will be a contact for external users for designated product(s) and will assist in leading projects. This position actively pursues research and development to ensure continued technology innovation for Renown aligned with our values and policies.
Nature and Scope
This position is responsible for a complex Healthcare System application environment that changes rapidly to meet the changing requirements of a growing enterprise of applications and is challenged with providing a reliable, flexible, and cost-effective system environment.
The Associate Application Analyst:
• Encompasses the job duties of entry level Application Analysis, Project Coordinator, Customer Support Specialist, Security Administrator, Educator and Customer Liaison.
• Participates in technical support, education and maintenance for the assigned application(s) and interfaces in support of the entire Health System.
•Participates in internal project coordination for all assigned application (s) and system upgrades, also partners with the EPMO on strategic projects.
• Participates in analysis, design, testing, and implementation of new and existing systems for the assigned application(s).
• Collaborates with the organizational leaders to resolve technical problems, application performance issues as well as participates in optimization and enhancement efforts.
• Helps coordinate assigned application security (i.e., user provisioning).
• Supports the user community by addressing service desk calls and tickets related to the assigned application(s).
• Is responsible to serve as the conduit for submission of work requests applicable to the assigned application(s) and will facilitate a timely response to the requestor advising them regarding work scheduling; technical feasibility; technology compatibility; integration and interfacing.
This position does not provide patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Name | Description |

Education: | Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology, health care, science, business field, or an equivalent level of professional experience preferred. |
Experience: | Minimum 0 - 2+ years' experience working in an Information Technology or Healthcare setting. Minimum 0 - 2+ years in healthcare application analysis or application configuration and support experience. Experience in the application related to the position filled, preferred. Project Management experience preferred. |
License(s): | None |
Certification(s): | Application Certification may be required on application(s). |
Computer / Typing: | Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, have the ability to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. |
