Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit healthcare network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Urology team.
The Urology APP will evaluate, consult, and treat Pediatric Urology patients, and provide First Assistance on all surgeries. The NP will share round responsibilities in the hospital, as well as see follow up appointments in clinic.
Surgery procedures performed will generally include tasks like tissue manipulation, suturing, and managing bleeding during surgery. The incumbent will also perform Urodiagnostic testing with pediatric patients in clinic to help assess and diagnose conditions affecting the urinary tract in children. Renown Health is part of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
The ideal candidate will have Pediatric and/ or Urology experience and will require First Assist Certification.

The affiliation aims to improve the health of the community, region, and state through research, medical education, and expanded clinical care. Renown physicians participate as joint faculty at UNR Med for teaching, lectures, supervising clinical rotations, and other academic activities for the education of medical and physician assistant students, residents, and fellows.

- Daily rounds in the hospital
