Renown Health, northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network is seeking full-time Medical Oncology NP to join our Cancer Center Outpatient Clinic with our Medical Oncology team

This is an opportunity to join an established group that is committed to providing you with a sustainable career in Oncology medicine.  The NP will work out of the Oncology clinic attached to our Cancer Institute.  The Oncology NP will oversee and manage Oncology patients and working closely with Hematology and Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, and Oncology Surgeons. Experience in Oncology is helpful.

The ideal candidate will have an oncology or acute/critical care background. This individual will see approx. 15-18 patients/day and be responsible for phone triage and rounding, and oversight of the oral chemo adherence program.

The Nurse Practitioner will have the opportunity to participate in the teaching of learners, including but not limited to nurse practitioners, medical students, and residents through our academic affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno Medical School

• Extensive support staff in place: Care Coordinators, dedicated Pharmacists, Nurse Navigators, Psychosocial Services and Palliative Care
• Participate in the development and implementation of programs such as survivorship and symptom management clinics
