Dr. Stephanie Carlsen is an advanced practice nurse specializing in cardiology with expertise in structural heart care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees in Adult-Geriatric Acute Care from the University of Arizona in 2015. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2010. Stephanie has been with Renown Institute for Heart & Vascular Health since 2014, where she sees general cardiology patients at the Reno and Carson City offices and plays a key role in the Structural Heart Program. In addition to her clinical work, Stephanie serves as an Instructor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, helping to educate and mentor future healthcare providers.
