Renown Health Pulmonary Rehabilitation, located in Renown South Meadows Medical Center, is a leading facility dedicated to helping individuals with respiratory conditions regain their quality of life. This medically supervised outpatient service is for individuals who are living with any of the following conditions:
- Asthma
- Bronchitis (chronic)
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
- Emphysema
- Lung cancer
- Lung transplant
- Other chronic lung diseases
These conditions are often diagnosed through your primary care provider, a specialist like Renown Pulmonary Medicine or in the hospital setting. These providers can be your advocate by referring you to Renown Pulmonary Rehab.
As a patient you can expect to receive nine weeks of exercise therapy, education and breathing techniques to retrain your respiratory system – all to help improve your quality of life. Under the supervision of a board-certified pulmonologist, our team designs a customized care plan to your individual needs and capabilities.
