Overview

Located in Quail Corners South, Renown Health X-Ray & Imaging – South McCarran, Operated by Renown Regional Medical Center, provides northern Nevada with the latest technological advances in diagnostic imaging. Board-certified radiologists and highly skilled licensed technologists work collaboratively to provide exceptional x-ray and imaging services, including mammography and whole breast ultrasound.

For patients with dense breast tissue, we strongly recommend a whole breast ultrasound and a traditional mammogram. This non-invasive procedure utilizes harmless sound waves, similar to those employed during routine check-ups for expectant mothers, to identify cancerous tumors within the breast without radiation exposure. The ultrasound examination typically takes about 20 minutes, ensuring a quick and comfortable experience for our patients.

Additionally, all locations are accredited by the American College of Radiology, meaning they have undergone a rigorous review process to ensure they meet nationally accepted standards.

Renown Health Breast Imaging Fund

We believe every woman deserves access to essential breast screenings. Through the this fund, uninsured women, regardless of insurance or immigration status, may qualify for free mammograms and imaging.
